| 1) THIS WAS NOT A REMAKE, but a "Now Lost" further entertaining episode ofthat "Unlikely Love Affair Dynamic Dual" based on the original 1952Movie. In this adventure the Germans force Charlie and Rose to haul amilitary canon of some type down river on the Queen. Well of course tofight the war on their part, the team will again, with a little luck,try and out wit the German Army for Queen and Country.
Because it was only an hour, I hoped this would be a pilot for a newadventure series, something different from all those Cop Shows thatruled the air waves at the time.. Just a one time showing I guess. Istill remember it well being a big fan of the original. Maybe it willshow up as bonus material on DVD on a future re-release of the originalmovie! |
