Plot:
An unemployed teacher becomes a counselor at a summer camp for severely disabled children.
Trivia:
  • Most, if not all, of the children who acted in this movie were from The Bachman Recreation Center of Dallas TX. It is a learning and activity center for handicapped persons.
  • Shawn Timothy Kennedy (“Voicebox Charlie”) could actually talk. The twins in the unloading scene are his real-life brothers.
  • The only one of the children who was not physically challenged in real life was Christian McIntire who played the role of Hobson. Mr. McIntire has gone on to become a writer, director and producer after leaving the acting field.
